Live-dealer games stream a real human dealer from a studio to your phone, so you watch real cards or a real wheel instead of an animation. It feels more trustworthy than software — but the maths behind the table is the same.
How the stream works
A licensed studio films a dealer at a real table; optical recognition reads the cards or wheel and syncs the result to your screen. Reputable studios (for example, large regulated providers) show a licensing body on screen. If a stream cuts out mid-round, that round is normally voided.
The odds haven't changed
Baccarat, Roulette and Dragon Tiger each carry a fixed house edge. 'Live' changes the experience, not the probabilities. Side bets usually have a worse edge than the main bets — the flashier the wager, the more it tends to favour the house.
Staying safe
Watch for fake 'live' feeds that are actually recordings, and never share banking codes with a 'host' or agent. Set a table budget before you sit down.
